Books to the Rescue
The Friends partner with Books to the Rescue Twin Cities to provide book bags filled with books and stuffed animals for first responders. So far, we’ve donated bags to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Department and Rosemount Police Department, with a goal of equipping every first responder unit in Rosemount.

The Dakota County Library is committed to fostering lifelong learning, community engagement, and equitable access to resources. Its strategic plan focuses on expanding access, strengthening communities, supporting lifelong learning, offering educational opportunities, enhancing resources.

Rosemount Area Literacy Community
The Friends partner with the Rosemount Area Arts Council each March to host the Writers' Festival & Book Fair, featuring a keynote speaker, writing workshops, and a book fair with local and regional authors.

RAAC enriches the Rosemount community with diverse arts programming, including concerts, festivals, theater performances, art classes, and literary events.
